The St. James Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) is a diverse visionary and advisory body of servant leaders, guided by the Holy Spirit to assist and serve the St. James parish family and pastor in achieving our parish mission.
PPC members serve a 3-year term and work on various commissions and committees – including Faith Formation, Spiritual Life, Human Concerns, Finance, and Deanery – to further the mission of St. James Parish.
The responsibilities of PPC members include: praying for our parish, assisting the pastor in realizing a vision for our parish, advising the pastor, serving as a conduit between parishioners and pastoral staff, evaluating and enhancing all aspects of parish life, understanding and advocating for all parish ministries and encouraging involvement by all parishioners, and planning and hosting the Easter Vigil reception.
As servant leaders, members of the PPC are called to be faith-filled, evangelizers, transparent visionaries, accountable stewards, in service to all, bold and courageous, and compassionate and humble.
Please feel free to reach out to any of us when you see us at Mass, around St. James, or in the community. Contact e-mails are listed each week on the back page of the bulletin above the Mass schedule.
