Marillac House
This is a one-person volunteer opportunity. It involves coordinating the pick-up of donated furniture, household items and clothing for Marillac Social Center in Chicago. Marillac Social Center is run by the Daughters of Charity Ministries of Chicago. They provide social services to residents of the west side such as child-care/early childhood education, after school programs, literacy programs, parenting classes, a food pantry and outreach to the elderly, just to name a few.
