I was ordained and assigned to St. James by the Cardinal in May 2013. Today, I serve the parishioners, the pastor, and the staff of St. James in the areas of Liturgy, Word and Charity.
The thing I look forward to most is encountering Christ through the People of God, His Word, and the Sacraments. When I open my heart, I feel the incredible action of the Holy Spirit in all aspects of the Church.
I grew up in God’s country, also known as Joliet, Illinois. There I went to St. Patrick’s Grade School and attended Joliet Catholic High School. I went on to graduate from Bradley University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and received my Master’s degree from Northwestern University in Management.
These days, I live here in Arlington Heights. My favorite bible quote is James 2:18 because it challenges us to put our faith into action. It states: “Indeed someone may say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Demonstrate your faith to me without works, and I will demonstrate my faith to you from my works.”
My wife, Laura, and I have been married since 1980. We have four children and three precious grandchildren.
