I grew up in Bolingbrook IL and attended St Dominic grade school. After some years in Pennsylvania, I graduated high school from Benet Academy. There, I met my husband, John. I graduated college with a degree in Nursing and spent many years working full time, part time as well as taking time off to raise our 4 children who all attended St James School. We have lived in Arlington Heights for the past 17 years.
The role of mom and nurse have much in common. The main focus is caring for another. It has been a gift to have my career be spent caring for others as well as having all the flexibility I have enjoyed to be able to raise my kids over the past 21 years. While I miss bedside nursing, my role at St James allows me to serve others in a different way. Being involved with the fundraising events of our parish and school allows me to continue to provide help to those in need. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and blessed to be part of a community rooted in generosity and faith.
“and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have bee called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
