Diane and I were married in 1980 and have been active members of St James since moving here from Des Plaines in 1988. All three of our children attended St James School where Diane has been the school nurse part-time for many years. I am a pharmacist and work as a Medical Information Manager in a large healthcare corporation and Diane also works part-time as a nursing supervisor in a large suburban hospital. We have been blessed with three delightful grandchildren.
I was ordained a Deacon in May 2009. Today, I’m the primary contact at St James for the Catholics Come Home program. Diane and I work together coordinating our Ministry of Care volunteers who visit, pray, and bring Holy Eucharist to the sick and shut-ins in our community. Diane is also a VIRTUS trainer at St James.
We are humbled by the wonderful people that we meet and minister to, and are inspired by the vibrant and caring parishioners we work with. We look forward to helping the people in our parish community, as we continue to serve God by serving others. It is important that we live out the gospel in our actions. James 2:14-17 “Faith without works is dead.”
