Ministry Lead:
Nancy Braun

St. James Ministers of Care are available to bring the Holy Eucharist, to pray, and to visit with parishioners who are sick, injured, physically challenged, or unable to leave their homes. This is a wonderful opportunity for those unable to attend Mass to share in the Eucharist and to stay connected with their St. James family. Home, hospital, and care facility visitations are offered.
Please contact the parish office to schedule a Minister of Care.
Volunteers for this ministry are always welcome! A mandated training session is offered annually.
Due to COVID, only homebound visits are being made at this time at the request of a parishioner or a family member. Ministers are required to follow specific Archdiocesan guidelines for administering Holy Communion during this time of pandemic. If a minister did not receive the guidelines via email, please email Nancy Braun.
Ministers are not able to visit in care facilities or at the hospital until state and individual center restrictions are lifted.
We so look forward to returning to our visits. In the meantime, we hold our parishioners in prayer.
