I am very excited to be the Principal of St. James School and I am eager to work with the teachers, students, and families of the St. James Community. I am dedicated to aligning the vision of the school so that no matter when a student enters SJS, they leave with three key attributes, academic excellence, moral character, and most importantly, the love of God.
Before coming to St. James, I served as the Principal at St. Joseph School in Wilmette, Athletic Director and Dean of Students at St. Benedict Prep in Chicago, and Science Teacher at Northridge Prep in Niles.
I graduated from Hillsdale College with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Math. At Hillsdale, I played offensive line on the NCAA DII football team. Recently I finished my second Masters at Loyola University in Administration and Supervision. Previous to Loyola, I received my first Masters of Education at North Park University. I recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame’s Center for Transformational Educational Leadership program through the Alliance for Catholic Education.
I live in Evanston with my wife Rita, son Benny, and daughter Ellie. Benny will also be joining me at St. James in the PreK program.
It’s a great day to be a bulldog!
