I grew up in Glenview, Illinois, and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 2004. I now live in Buffalo Grove, with my wife, Christi, and our four children, Gianna, Gemma, Natalie, and Andrew.
My work at St. James began in December of 2015, where I am serving as a Parish Missionary with a new Parish Outreach initiative called FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students.
The goal of FOCUS is to meet men and women where they are and invite them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church, inspiring and equipping them for a lifetime of Christ-centered evangelization, discipleship and friendships, in which they lead others to do the same in the parish. Through Bible studies, one-on-one mentoring and outreach events, we hope to build relationships and journey together. I love coming to work every day, because I love meeting new people. As I get familiar with them, I see how God is at work in their lives. Christ is a constant inspiration for FOCUS. The spirit of Christ is ever present in my ministry – from someone encountering Christ for the first time to deepening their relationship with Him.
My favorite Bible quotes are “We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.” (Rom 8:28) and “Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Cor 5:16-18) In my life, I have experienced God’s unfailing love for me, and how He brings good from all things.
I am extremely grateful and excited to have the opportunity to be serving here at St. James.
If you are interested in taking the next step in your discipleship and/or becoming a part of a small group Bible study that seeks to encounter Jesus Christ, please call me or e-mail me as I’d love to meet you.
