Brahms Requiem
When
March 22 at 7 p.m.
Join the St. James Parish Music Ministry as they present the Requiem by Johannes Brahms on Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 pm in the church.
Originally premiered in 1868, this landmark work for orchestra, chorus and soloists takes its text from Scripture. It is a prayerful meditation on the truth of the resurrection of the dead.
St. James Music Director Tamaron Conseur will conduct the chorus and chamber orchestra during this free concert. Our chorus, made up of parishioners and community members, is joined by soloists Dan Richardson (bass) and Sarah van der Ploeg (soprano).
