The highlight of the Sacred Sounds Concert Series is our presentation of a major classical concert each spring. In March of 2027 Sacred Sounds will present the Requiem by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a masterpiece composed for orchestra, soloists and chorus. Music Director Tamaron Conseur will conduct the concert.

About the Music: Shrouded in mystery from the time of its composition, the Requiem by Mozart is a singular masterwork of the Classical era. You’ll hear the iconic Dies Irae which depicts the fires of hell, the elegant Tuba Mirum duet for baritone and trombone, and the Lacrimosa, for chorus, (one of the original tearjerkers).

This monumental work invites the audience to meditate on mortality, contemplate the deep faith that inspires millions, and consider the spiritual hope of eternal life. Admission to the concert is free and open to the community. Believers, seekers, and music aficionados will all find something to love about this concert.
